Alvin I. Rounds succumbed to a year's illness Saturday afternoon, when he died about 4:30 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna Rounds, on North Ninth street.

Mr. Rounds had been ailing for over a year and his death was due to valvular heart trouble and dropsy. He is survived by one brother Will, a sister, Miss Josephine, and his mother, all of whom reside in this city.

Deceased was well known in this city and was an electrician for a number of years prior to his illness. Alvin Rounds was born in Sabula, June 25, 1872 and came to this city with his parents a number of years ago and has since resided here.

Lyons lodge No. 61, I.O.O.F. will have charge of the funeral services to be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on North Ninth street, and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

The remains of the late Alvin J. Rounds will be interred Wednesday afternoon in Oakland cemetery. The funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Anna Rounds on North Ninth street at 2 o'clock and the members of Lyons lodge No. 61 I.O.O.F. will have charge of the funeral.

Funeral services for the late Alvin Rounds were held Wednesday afternoon from the home on North Ninth street with Rev. N. McAuley of the Lyons Presbyterian church in charge. Burial was made in the Fulton cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: Hans Heldt, Earl Meyer, C. J. Green, I. L. Beaman, W. J. Wascher and Honts Johnson.
