Mrs. Mary Sutton, one of Clinton's old settlers, was laid to rest Friday afternoon in Springdale cemetery after funeral services at the home, 510 Sixth avenue. Dr. M. J. Locke of the M. E. church officiated.

Acting as pallbearers were Daniel Haller, Thomas Haller, George McCone, J. A. McCullough, A. B. Rathbun and George Backus.

Those present from out of the city were Harvey Sutton of Lisbon, N.D., George Joanin of Minneapolis, Mrs. William Nesom, Mr. and Mrs. John Scarborough, Mrs. Tinan, Miss Mary Cawthorne and Mrs. Edwin Bryant of Sabula.
