page 1Folletts, Dec. 1--Mrs. Gus Reher, living three and one-fourth miles north of Folletts, died at her home Wednesday night at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Reher underwent an operation in the morning.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12 o'clock from her late home. Interment will be made in the Camanche cemetery.

Folletts, Ia., Dec. 2--Mrs. Gus Reher died very suddenly Wednesday night at 11 o'clock at their home three quarters of a mile north of here, after an illness of five days of stricture of the bowels.Mary Kahl was born Dec. 7, 1874, in Camanche, Iowa, and passed away Nov. 29, 1916, aged 41 years, 11 months and 22 days. In February, 1896, she was married to Gus Reher of this place. To them five children were born: Mamie, Annie and John, who died when quite young, and Grace and Freddie, who with their father are left to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. She also leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Kahl, of Folletts, two brothers, John of St. Paul, Minn., Louie of Seattle, Wash. and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Minch of Sifton, Wash., and Mrs. Maude Johanson, of Calamus. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 12 o'clock at the home, with interment in Camanche cemetery.
