BODY OF MILO PROBST FOUND IN SCULL BOAT
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SUCCUMBS TO HEART TROUBLE
The many friends and relatives of Milo Probst, sixteen year old son of Paul Probst of this city, were greatly shocked this morning at the finding of the body of the young man in a scull boat at the foot of Lumber street. Details of the happenings of his death are not known, but the cause was pronounced heart failure, as he was known to have leakage of that organ.

The father of the deceased, Paul Probst, came down from Elk River Friday afternoon with the intention of taking Milo back up the river for a week end hunting trip. At the time of his arrival here Milo was not at home so his father left word for him to come up to the cabin near Elk River. In the meantime Milo was starting up the river for the cabin and upon his arrival there it is presumed that he found no one there and started back home Friday evening and probably died just after landing at Lumber street and was there until discovered this morning by Will French, who happened to be passing and noticed the body lying in a peculiar way in the boat. Mr. French immediately notified the authorities and investigation showed that the young man was dead and had probably died Friday night when he came back from the river trip.

The deceased was born and raised in this city and was a student at the Lyons High school at the time of his death. He is survived by his father and two sisters, Mrs. Herman Stodden of this city and Miss Birdie Probst of Groveton, Texas. Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of his father from Elk River.
