DELMAR, IOWA -- Mrs. Peter Nelson died at her home west of town on Monday morning, after an illness of two weeks. Besides her husband, Peter Nelson, there are seven children left to mourn. Henry, Anna, Irene, Harry and Donald at home. Florence of Maquoketa and Mrs. Dora Kankel of Lost Nation. Her mother, Mrs. Christina Nelson, four brothers, Chris, Jeon, Pete and Henry Nelson of Delmar; seven sisters, Mrs. Albert Allison, Mrs. Will ??, Mrs. Arnold Schnieder, Mrs. Harry Hoffman, Mrs. Bert Kauffman of Delmar, Mrs. Matt Freize of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Rufus Fassmacht of Atwater, Ohio.
A son, Christian Nelson, died this spring of burns received in an explosion. The funeral will be Wednesday afternoon at the M. E. church.
