Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Mathews were held this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church, with Rev. Wolfe, Staunton, Doman officiating at the mass. Mrs. Har? Shields sang an "Ave Maria" and Miss Marie McDermott sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."
Paulbearers were Will Clancy, Will Howard, John Clark, John Her??, ? Duhr, Ed Reynolds, Will Haskins, John Rowan. Three daughters came from Chicago, Sarah Katherine and Josephine, also Mrs. Katherine Daley.
Burial was made in St. Mary's cemetery.
