Camanche, Iowa, Aug. 12--The funeral services for Mr. John Drury, who passed away Saturday evening at his home in Camanche, were held Monday afternoon at the Baptist church, Rev. Pelton officiating. Mr. Drury was born in England Oct. 21, 1827, and died Aug. 5, 1916. On Nov. 22, 1847 he married Miss Ann Elizabeth Scinton of England, marking their home there until 1881, when Mr. and Mrs. Drury came to America and settled in Camanche. He leaves to mourn his loss one daughter, Mrs. Mary A. Hogg, of Camanche, and one sister and one brother in England.
