Samuel Frey, 61 years old, died at his home, 189 Park avenue this morning at 10:30 o'clock, after an illness of eight months.

He has been a resident of Clinton for nearly fifty years, coming here from across the river in Illinois, where he was born.

Mr. Frey leaves one brother and one sister, Emmanue Frey, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Sarah Barstow of Flandreau, S.D.

The funeral has not been definitely arranged, but will probably be held Friday afternoon at the home.

Funeral services for Samuel Frey were held at the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. H. J. Randall of the First Presbyterian church.

Those who attended from out of the city were Mrs. Grace Heenan of Chicago, Miss Cora Burkey, Chicago and Leslie Goss of Flandreau, S. D.
