LEE -- In this city, December 29th, 1869, of Scarlet Fever, MARY GENEVIEVE LEE. Aged Eight years. Daughter of Francis and Mary Lee.

Gone from the hearts that loved her,
The home she filled with glee;
Gone in her childish beauty,
Little Gennie Lee.

Gone like a sunbeams flitting,
Over the deep, blue sea;
Leaving our hearts in shadow,
Darling Gennie Lee.

Folder, her fairy fingers,
Hushed, is her voice of glee;
Silent, her merry footsteps,
Laughing Gennie Lee.

Over the "Silent River,"
Over the crystal sea;
There we again shall meet her,
Precious Gennie Lee.

Life we our eyes to Heaven,
Savior, oh, hear our plea;
Ever to know in Glory,
Angel Gennie Lee.
