LYONS MAN IS FOUND DEAD ON STEAMER
Word was received here this morning of the death of E. W. Wright, for many years a resident of this city when not on the river. Mr. Wright had not been in the best of health for some time, but his death, occurring as it did, shocked his relatives and many friends. Mr. Wright was found dead in bed this morning on board the steamer Keokuk, which took out an excursion Sunday, Mr. Wright being the engineer.

Deceased was about 66 years of age, and was born in Vermont, later coming to this city, where he was married and has spent the winters and closed navigation seasons with his family here. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Cora Mead of Muskegon, Mich., and Miss Flora Wright of the same city; four sons, Sereno of Cedar Rapids, Ebin of Clinton and Merle and LaVerne, also of Cedar Rapids.

Ebin Wright leaves today for Keokuk to meet the remains, which will be brought to this city for burial.
