Mrs. Anna Mary Young, wife of E. M. Young, a Northwestern fireman, residing at 535 Sixth avenue, passed away shortly after 11 o'clock Wednesday evening. Mrs. Young had been ailing for two years, but her death was entirely unexpected, and comes as a shock to her relatives and friends.

The deceased, nee Anna Mary Johnson, was born in Hinckley county, Ill., about 27 years ago. She had made her home in Clinton for three years, and during her residence here won many friends, who extend sympathy to the bereaved husband and family. She lived with her husband at the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. Limacher, on Sixth avenue. Other surviving relatives are four brothers and four sisters, her father and two brothers having preceded her in death.

The remains of the late Mrs. E. N. Young have been sent to Hinckley, Ill. for interment, the funeral having been held there today.
