The heat of the past summer claimed another victim at 6 o'clock this morning when Hans Sands passed away at Agatha hospital where he was taken after he sustained a sunstroke early in July. Mr. Sands was an employe of the Chalker Ice company for nearly twenty years.

So far as is known he has no relatives living in this country. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Bragonier and Behr chapel for Hans Sands, who died at Agatha hospital Monday after an illness of two months due to sunstroke. The Rev. P. E. Gotke officiated.

Pallbearers were John Nickelsen, Carl Jensen, Ernest Goldensoph, F. Cartstensen, Jens Bertelsen and William Hamann.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows had charge at the grave. Burial was made in Springdale cemetery.
