Michael Stineger, aged about 65 years, died at Mercy hospital at 9:45 this morning after an illness extending over the past five months, death being due to gangrene.

Mr. Stineger was born in Germany some 65 years ago and came to this country at an early age. He has been a resident of this city for a great many years and was in the junk business here until he was taken ill in January of this year.

Deceased is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Edith Dayne, Mrs. Ella Onnabelle, Mrs. Margaret Black, and Louise and Mary Stineger, both at home.

The funeral arrangements have not as yet been completed.

The funeral of the late Michael Steineger was held this morning from St. Boniface church, with burial in St. Boniface cemetery. Six friends of the deceased acted as pallbearers.
