Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Hamdorf, 73, who died Jan. 20 while sweeping snow in front of her home at Wheatland, were held Jan. 24 in Zion Evangelical & Reformed church at Lowden. The Rev. N. S. Roberts was in charge. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery, Wheatland.

Born July 3, 1884, near Wheatland, she was the former Amelia Riedesel. She married Chris Hamdorf Feb. 15, 1911, in Wheatland. They farmed near Massillon until moving to Wheatland.

Surviving is the husband and one son, Harry, of Massillon, two granddaughters; one brother, Herman Riedesel, Wheatland, and one sister, Mrs. Herman Debner, Lost Nation.
