The funeral of the late Patrick Gleason will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from St. Mary's church, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery.

Patrick Gleason was born in Ottawa, Canada, in 1844. He came to the states when a young man. He has lived in Clinton since 1863 and was a charter member of St. Mary's Temperance Society.

The deceased was in the employ of the Chicago & Northwestern railroad for many years and was pensioned Dec. 1, 1914.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral are: Mr. and Mrs. Quinlan, Petersville, Mrs. Morrison, Davenport; Mr. T. O'Meara, Delmar; Mr. and Mrs. McHugh, Lisbon.
