W. L. Ainsworth, an old time resident of Clinton, died at the home of his son near Fairmount, Nebraska, early this week, according to word which reached friends here today.

Mr. Ainsworth served two years in the Clinton city council and was well known in this city among the older residents. He was also a member of the Methodist church here and a prominent worker in Methodist circles during his residence in this city.
