The funeral services for the late Mrs. Iven Roscoe were held last Sunday afternoon at the Baptist church, Mrs. Roscoe having passed away last Friday, Feb. 11, at the Agatha hospital.

The deceased, nee Nora Sharp, was born in Panther, Ky., July 30, 1888. She was united in marriage to Iven B. Roscoe of Camanche on Jan. 30, 1913, in Clinton, after which they removed to Sterling, Ill. where they had since lived. Miss Sharp, when 13 years of age, united with the Baptist church of Kentucky, removing her membership from Kentucky and uniting with the Baptist church of Sterling. She leaves to mourn her loss, beside her husband, three sisters, Mrs. S. J. Lingang of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. O. B. Banoie of Earlington, Ky., and Mrs. Ellis Miller of Louisville, Ky.; also four brothers, R. G. Sharpe of Calhoun, Ky., John Sharp of Panther, Ky., George Sharp of Texas City, Tex. and Fred of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Rev. Rogers of Clinton officiated, assisted by F. E. Palton, pastor of the Camanche church. Mrs. Hoggs and Mrs. Cady doing the singing and Miss Lila Beans, organist. The pallbearers were E. G. Cady and Horace Cady, James Taylor, Charles Pate, Floyd Anthony and James Holmes. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery, Camanche. The floral tributes were beautiful.
