Lost Nation, Ia. Dec. 31--Funeral services for the late Chas. Hovey were held at the Methodist church here Monday afternoon. Rev. Snyder of Elwood, conducted the funeral services. Mr. Hovey had been taking treatment at the Iowa City sanitarium for a number of years but could not be cured, death resulting Friday, Dec. 19th. He leaves to mourn his death besides his wife, two married daughters, May and Grace and son Leon, and four small children at home.
