Mrs. Katherine Jeerman's spirit took its flight to that better land Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Roseman. Mrs. Jeerman had been sick for the past three weeks.

She was born Aug. 27th, 1834 in Austria in 1871, she came to America where she settled in Clinton county, where she has since resided.

The sincere sympathies of this community goes forth to the mourners.

She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. Mary Roseman and a sister, Mrs. Mike Stervens, of Olpe, Kansas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at Sugar Creek. Rev. Father Dehert officiating.

She was laid to rest by the side of her deceased husband in the Sugar Creek cemetery, who passed to that better land seven years ago.

At the time of her death she was 82 years, 6 months and 21 days old. The following acted as pall bearers: A. H. Pechel, Michael Reuter, John Ahlers, Joe Steark, Barney Timmer and William Boehmer.
