Charles Mudgett of 1211 South Seventh street, died at his home at 8:20 last evening, after a year's illness, anemia being the cause of death.

Mr. Mudgett lived in Clinton all of his life. He was born at Camanche on September 3, 1854, moving to this city shortly after. He is survived by a wife and four children, Lee, Jay, Hazel and Mrs. L. B. Code, of Vancouver. He also leaves two brothers and two sisters, one brother residing in Clinton on Sixth avenue.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Methodist church. Rev. Nye will officiate.
