Fred Rixon of this city, receives word of the death of his father, H. C. Rixon in Chicago, Saturday. Deceased was over 80 years old. He was born in the north of Germany and came to this country about twenty years ago, settling in Chicago. Surviving him are his aged wife, and the follow sons and daughters: Henry Rixon, C. Rixon, Mrs. P. J. Benson, Mrs. Alban Smith, A. W. Rixon and Mrs. Carl Hansen of Chicago, Charles Rixon of Los Angeles, and Fred Rixon of this city.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from the home in Chicago.
