Charles Shoemaker, aged 78 years, died at his home on the Bluff road near Eighth avenue Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock. The cause of death is given as Bright's disease. Mr. Shoemaker was a gardener and had resided in Clinton 16 years. A wife and two sons survive him, the latter both residents of New York. The funeral services will be held from the residence at 2:30 this afternoon with interment at Springdale.
