A. B. Henry, an old and respected citizen of Clinton, is dead at his late home 825 Eleventh avenue, of paralysis, age 78. He was born in Auburn, New York, January 1, 1823, and was married to Emily S. Worden Jan. 1, 1851. He came west in 1853 and settled at Cambridge, Iowa. To Mr. and Mrs. Henry were born four sons, F. M. Henry of Clinton; G. W. of Radcliffe, Iowa; and Bert and E. W., who are on their way to the Klondike.
Ten years ago Mr. Henry moved to Clinton to live a retired life and be near his children. He was in apparently good health and went to bed Tuesday feeling well as usual and passed a restful night. Wednesday morning he got up as usual but had only been up a short time when the stroke came and from that time knew no one. He died at 10:20 Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be announced later.
