The remains of the late Burt Durfee, whose death at Tie Siding, Wyo., has been announced in the AGE, arrived over the North Western Saturday, and were taken to the home of his father, N. J. Durfee, at No. 778 Camanche avenue, where the funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
William Burden Durfee was born in Chester, Powshick county, Iowa, November 7, 1868, removing to this city with his parents in 1872, where his mother died the same year. He remained at home with his father until about six years ago, when he went west, the greater portion of his time since having been spent in the western part of this state until last November, when he informed his relatives here that he was enjoying his usual health. Since then nothing has been learned of his whereabouts until the telegram announcing his death, which was caused by pneumonia, was received last Tuesday morning. He is survived by his father, N. J. Durfee, and one sister, Mrs. J. L. Bohnson, both of this city.
