The news of the death of Miss Dolly Arlen, niece of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Arlen, which occurred Thursday night at Maquoketa, is a sad surprise to her many friends and relatives in Clinton. The deceased was about twenty years of age and had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Arlen in this city for some time, coming here from Oxford Junction. Mrs. Arlen left for Maquoketa Friday evening and Mr. Arlen, his daughters and niece Miss Lou Linder of Chicago, will go this morning.
The remains will be taken to Oxford Junction where the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
