The funeral of Maj. Fred P. Kettenring of DeWitt occurred Sunday afternoon at 2:30. The societies attending, to which he had belonged, were the Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias, G. A. R. N. B. Howard post No. 92, Woman's Relief corps and Daughters of Rebekah, all in regalia and in keeping with the occasion. He was an honored citizen and genial companion who leaves many in Clinton as well as DeWitt to mourn his demise.
