The funeral of the late Thomas Whalen was held Monday morning with services at St. Patrick's church with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.

The death of Thomas Whalen occured at 3:45 o'clock Saturday morning at his home on Second avenue. He was 38 years of age and had resided in this city most of his life. He had been in poor health resulting from a stroke of paralysis. He is survived by his mother, his brothers Frank, John and Charles and his sisters Mrs. Ed Horau, Mrs. Philip Goff and an unmarried sister living at home.
