CLINTON - Lulu E. Spangler, 90, of Clinton, died Saturday at Mercy North Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lyons United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doresa Collogan officiating. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service time Tuesday at the church. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be James Camp, Tom Hardison, Mark Schroeder and Kevin Andresen.
She was born Jan. 21, 1914, near Miles to Chauncey and Edna Brown DePue. She married Paul Spangler on Sept. 25, 1937, in Clinton. He died in 1991.
She was a 1932 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a cosmetician at Walgreen's for 28 years before retiring in 1976. Prior to that, she was employed with Woolworth for 11 years.
She was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church, the Dorcus Circle and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Survivors include one son, James (Carol) Spangler of Milwaukee; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Ruth Kratz of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Sarah Harding Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
