Evelyn would have a 2-week vacation from work each year and she would always take a few days for each grandchild and treat them to a vacation and show them a good time.
At age 75, Evelyn and a lady friend drove to Arizona and she fell in love with that State. Evelyn out lived three wonderful husbands. She had seen many things happen in her 102 years and it was fun to listen to her tell some of the things that have changed in that length of time.
She had a wonderful caretaker, George and a Grandson David, who took care of her and her affairs. With the help of these two gentlemen she was able to live in her own home.
Evelyn is survived by one daughter – Catherine M. Ingwersen and son in-law Louis F. Ingwersen; one brother – Vernon King; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren.
