The Clinton Herald Saturday February 1, 1896 p 3 Mr. Levi Benedict, who resided near the corner of Sixth street and Bluff road, died at 1:30 to-day. About four weeks ago he fell on his porch and was considerably injured, since when he had been confined to his bed. Deceased was 76 years of age and had been a resident of this county for about forty years. He came to Clinton fourteen years ago. A wife and two sons, J.B. of this city, and George, of Bayard, survive him. The funeral arrangements have not been made yet.
