The Clinton Herald Monday May 16, 1921 p 8 Mrs. C.C. Judd for many years a resident of Clinton, passed away Sunday morning May 15 at Jane Lamb hospital. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 811 North Third street. Interment will be made in Rosehill cemetery in Camanche. Alice Martinez Smith was born in Milford, Conn., July 22, 1852. Her marriage to C.C. Judd took place May 17, 1875. The following children survive: George T. Judd of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. R.C. Wilkes of Stockton, Calif., Raymond C. Judd of Davenport; also a brother, George J. Smith of Milford, Conn., and four grandchildren Helen, Raymond and Adelaide Judd and Dorothy Jane Wilkes. Forty-five years of her life were spent in Camanche, where she had many friends who mourn her passing. Since the death of her husband in 1919 she had resided in Clinton.
