Clinton, Iowa -- Services for Peter Reckman, 85, of Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park.
Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church radio fund.
Mr. Reckman died Friday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.
He had been employed in the shipping department of Curtis Co., Clinton, for 27 years, retiring in 1961.
He married Hedwig Burde in 1920 in Clinton. She died in April 1981. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church and church Brotherhood.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Louis (Margaret) Doden, Hollister, Mo., Mrs. William (Eleanor) Nordbye, Berwin, Ill., and Dorothy Reckman, Clinton; sons, Frederick, Clinton, Eugene, Thomson, Ill., and C. David, Moline, Ill.; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great-grand-children.
