Helen Sloppy, 72, of Clinton died Thursday at Jane Lamb Hospital after a brief illness. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today at Clinton chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the church, of which she was a member, or a favorite charity. Helen Rasmussen married Frank Sloppy in 1928 in Morrison. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Sharon) Reed and Mrs. Howard (Marcia) Keefer, both of Clinton; three grand-children; and sisters, Freda Holle, Bettendorf, and Marie Winter, Clinton.
