A YOUNG LIFE GONE
DEATH OF GEORGE LOVEDER AT 8:10 LAST EVENING
Passed Quietly Away at His Home on Fourth Avenue-An Exemplary Young Man.

The announcement of the death of George Loveder will bring sorrow to many hearts in this city today. He passed away quietly at his home, 519 Fourth avenue, at ten minutes after eight o'clock last evening.
Perhaps no young man in the city was more popular or posessed a wider circle of friends than did George Loveder. Of a kind disposition and courteous manner he won many warm friends, and the announcement of his death will be received with genuine sorrow by all.
George Loveder would have been twenty-two years old on the 29th of March next. He was taken ill about Christmas last with a complication of disorders, but the immediate cause of death was due to heart failure. Although his illness was of a serious nature, a fatal termination was not looked for. On Saturday he appeared much improved, and his friends had hope of a speedy recovery. His death which came sudden and unexpected proved a great shock to all.
Deceased had been in the employ of C. Lamb & Sons for several years, first as clerk on the steamer Artemus, but later of the clerical force in the office of this firm. He was a member of the Young Men's Christian Association of this city and a strong support to a widowed mother.
Besides the mother, three sisters and three brothers are left to mourn- Misses Mabel, Lizzie and Lottie, and John, Guy and Leo.
The funeral arrangements will probably be announced today.

Funeral services over the remains of the late George Loveder will be conducted from the residence, 519 Fourth avenue, at 10 o'clock this morning, Rev. Edwin Moore, Jr., officiating.
