John Kane, a retired farmer of Clinton county, now living in Lyons, died Thursday at 3 o'clock p.m. from pneumonia. Mr. Kane is about 74 years old and one of the best known and most popular men in the county. The funeral arrangements have not been fixed as yet. They are waiting to hear from several of his sons, one of them in Nebraska.
