Joseph J. Plummer, 38, of Camanche, passed away, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics Iowa City, Iowa.
A Celebration of Joes life and his birthday will be Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00pm at Jerseys in Camanche. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is honored to serve the Plummer family, online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Joseph James Plummer was born on June 10, 1978 the son of Glenn and Debra (Cox) Plummer. He was a 1996 graduate of Camanche High School.
Joe was formerly employed at a welder at Metal Tech for several years. He enjoyed animals, going for walks, and playing horseshoes and bocce ball. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Joe is survived by his mother: Deb Plummer of Camanche; his father: Glenn Plummer of Camanche; his girlfriend: Jennifer Burken of Camanche; his siblings: Glenn (Melissa) Plummer of North Liberty, Iowa, and Alyssa Plummer of Preston, Iowa; his niece and nephews: Carter & Chase Ross and Trajan & Liviana Plummer; and his paternal grandmother: Ella Plummer of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandfather.
