LIFE’S END

R. Hughes Sr., one of the oldest residences of the county, who had lived in the interior of the county northwest of DeWitt, for many years, was buried at DeWitt Monday. He was 92 years of age at death. He was the father of Mr. Ed Hughes, so well known. The old gentlemen had been a rheumatic cripple for many years.
