The sad news has reached the city of the death Friday of Mrs. McCabe, of Lowden, wife of the genial Charley, while under a surgical operation. Mrs. McCabe was known and respected by the regular traveling public west from Clinton, and the army of railway men for she for years before her event wedding conducted the railway eating house at Lowden, which her husband and herself have run since. The funeral occurs this afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hahn went out yesterday to attend.
