The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 31, 1890

On Saturday evening Mrs. Kate A. Mead, the beloved wife of Mr. Charles L. Mead, died at the age of twenty three years and five months. Mrs. Mead was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Wohter. She was married a little less than two years ago. The funeral took place at the residence on Sixth Avenue, the Rev. S. C. Bronson conducting the services.
