Word has been received of the death of Alice M. Dong, 62, of San Francisco, California., who died Sunday, Jan. 23rd at Seton Memorial Hospital, Daly City, Calif.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:45 a.m. Friday at St. Finn Barr Catholic Church, San Francisco, Calif. Visitation will be Thursday at Riley Goodwin, and Scannell Funeral Home. San Francisco, Calif., where a 7:30 p.m. parish rosary will be recited.

She was born February 26, 1937 in Clinton, Iowa to Raymond M. and Josephine Owens McDevitt. She married Kirby K. Dong Sept. 19, 1964 in Clinton.

She was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary's High School. She worked as an executive secretary for the San Francisco Opera and Symphony, Union Carbide Co., and the law firm of Jack Bonnano and Robert Champlain, San Francisco. She was a member of St. Finn Barr parish, where she was the custodian of The Infant Jesus of Good Health Shrine, a member of the San Francisco Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, the vice-president of the Immaculate Conception Academy Parents' Council, and an active member of Birthright and Right to Life.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs Judianne (Rob) Abramson of Daly City, Calif., Michelle Dong of Brooklyn, NY, and Bernadette Cornell Dong, stationed with the Air Force at Spangdahlem, Germany; sons Michael Dong of Santa Rosa, Calif. and Peter Ku (P.K.) Dong of San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Mary Frett and Therese J. Donahue of Clinton, Ia; three brothers, Al R. McDevitt of Fairview Park, Ohio, Leon McDevitt and Patrick McDevitt of Davenport, Ia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Joseph.
