Cheryl Ann Thorpe, 42, of Erie, IL, died unexpectedly, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, March 10th at the Erie United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Erie United Methodist Church. Gibson - Bode Funeral Home, Erie, is in care of the arrangements.
Cheryl was born August 27, 1974 in Centralia, Washington. She was the daughter of Donna and Alvin Wilson. She married Andrew R. Thorpe on April 9, 2010 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She received her Associates degree and was most recently working in the accounting department at Tyson in Joslin, IL.
Cheryl was an avid scrapbooker, loved shopping, boating with family and going to concerts. She coveted Starbuck's coffee and frequently got her fix of it. Cheryl was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and was passionate about her 2 dogs and 2 cats.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew; mother, Donna Davidson of WA; daughters, Sapphire Rose Pitts, and Kathleen Pitts, both of WA, Kailey Thorpe; and son, Kenneth Thorpe; brother, Alan Culton, WA; two grandchildren, in-laws and several nieces and nephews.
