The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, February 1, 1889
The death of Col. Lorin Wheeler occurred at DeWitt on Saturday. The Colonel was a real pioneer of Clinton County, coming in 1841. He had reached the full age of 89 years. The funeral took place at DeWitt on Monday afternoon.
