Ruth M. Luckritz age 95 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton. According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Monday March 6th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to Mercy Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Ruth was born on Sept. 10, 1921 in Savanna, IL, the daughter of Charlie and Lena (Otten) McMahon. She married Ervin Luckritz in 1942 in Manhattan, KS; he died in 1984. She touched many lives and was loved by all who knew her. Ruth loved to travel to California to visit her daughters and to Minneapolis to visit her sons. She enjoyed gardening; she had a marvelous green thumb, which was envied by many. Ruth had a wonderful sense of humor and had an infectious laugh.

Ruth is survived by her five children, Linda (Bob) Irby and Paula Kavanaugh both of San Rafael, CA, Rita (Kathleen) Jones of Novato, CA, Gary (Shirley) Luckritz of Morrison, IL, and Ellen (Tim Bannister) Luckritz of Walla Walla, WA; five grandchildren, Leslie, Eric, Lena, Clint, and Josh; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, June Orsi and Dolores Snyder.
