Michelle was born May 1, 1972 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Michael A. and Kay L. (McDonald) Marr. She attended the Clinton Schools. Michelle worked at DM Services and Target. She also worked briefly as activities director for a nursing home, which she truly loved. She married Scott Clark; they later divorced but remained the best of friends. She later married Rich Bray and they also divorced.
She gave birth to two girls, Ashley and Kylee, who were the loves of her life. Ashley was born with special needs and Michelle was devoted to giving her the best love and care until her declining health prevented her from continuing to provide that care. While they were married, Scott adopted Ashley, for which Michelle was very grateful. Michelle was aunt and "like a second mom" to her niece, Katera. Michelle was a Type 1 diabetic and had Crohn's disease and is now at peace after years of health struggles. She was an avid Chicago Bear's fan and loved time spent with family and friends.
Those left to honor her memory are her mother and father, Gene and Kay Scott of Camanche; daughters, Ashley Clark of Davenport and Kylee Clark of Clinton; brother, Nicholas (Bree Esslinger) Scott; step-sister, Princess Hargrove; special niece, Katera Scott; nieces, Harlow and Kaleighana; special friend, Scott Clark and step-daughter, Mercedez Jeffreys.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael A. Marr and her grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Michelle was very grateful for the care given by her medical staff, especially her nurses, CNA's and Andrea Witt. - See more at: http://obituaries.clintonherald.com/story/michelle-marr-bray-1972-2017-874055112#sthash.yHmgh5Dm.dpuf
