Kathryn "Kat" Jean Parker passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 9, 2017 in Mesa, AZ, at the age of 62.
Kat is survived by her daughters Carrie (Troy) Robertson of Mesa, AZ and Angelina Jones of Conroe, TX. Grandchildren Tyler Ehredt, Shawn Robertson, Faryn Robertson & Heather Robertson of Mesa, AZ; Brayden Jones and Braxton Jones of Conroe, TX.; brother Dale "D.H" (Marilyn) Ratcliff of Albany, IL; Sister Donna (Randy) Linker of Lanark, IL.
Kat was preceded in death by husband Lawrence "Larry" Parker; brother James "Jim" Ratcliff and sister Mary Kathryn Ratcliff.
Kat was born on June 13,1954 in Clinton, Iowa to Maurice and Mary Ratcliff . She graduated from Fulton High School in 1972 was a proud member of the NÉE HI's where she played drums. Early in life she worked for General Electric in Morrison, Il. She later moved to Florida where she became a Union carpenter and worked on projects for Disney and Universal Studios.
Kat recently retired and settled in Mesa, AZ where she enjoyed riding motorcycles, music, the outdoors, and her family and friends. She was an active member of the American Legion Post 27 Apache Junction AZ and thr Legion Rider motorcycle club. She was also a member of Abate of Iowa District 21. Kat had an unforgettable smile and a unique sense of humor. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
