This community was pained on Tuesday on being appraised of the death of Emmanuel Albright, or “Father” Albright, as he has been familiarly known here. We noted some time since the fact that he has been attacked with apoplexy. He has never recovered from it, and his death has been the result. He died at 7 o’clock Monday evening.

Mr. Albright is one of the old settlors of Hampshire Township, and his face is familiar to every citizen of Lyons, he at his death being 75 years old. He was a good citizen and worthy man making warm friends of all with whom he came in contact. His upright life has been a subject of remark.

He leaves a large family, all the children grown to manhood and womanhood. A. J. Albright of Charlotte, Samuel Albright of Bryant, E. D. Albright of Beloit, and many others sons as well as daughters, are his children.

The funeral occurred at the Methodist Church yesterday. Advertiser.
