Died

At the home of her son, George W. Curtis, in Redfield, Iowa, Jan. 4th, Mrs. Louisa Tanner, aged 82 years, she lived in Lyons nearly 50 years, some months since going to Redfield, and leaves besides the son several grandchildren, two of whom, Mrs. Lon Smith and Miss Mabel Leffingwell, are in Lyons. Mrs. Tanner was held in high regard by the wide acquaintance of her long life. Her remains were brought “home” by her son, and the funeral held at the Presbyterian Church Thursday, with interment at Oakland Cemetery.
