Mason City- Beatrice Bea Lane, 80, of Mason City, died Thursday (December 22, 2016) at the I.O.O.F Home in Mason City.
A memorial service for Bea will be held 1:30pm Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Praise Community Church, 11 2nd St NW, Mason City.
Bea was born January 3, 1936, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Kepke) Frederick in Joliet, IL.
She graduated from Lyons High School in 1954, before working at Northwest Bell Telephone Company, Montgomery Ward Credit Office and Nielsens Coupon. Bea married Joseph Lane on October 21, 1956, and the couple was blessed with three children. She was a member of Praise Community Church in Mason City.
Bea is survived by her children, Bruce (Robin) Lane, Julie Malone, and Joel (Holly) Lane; five grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Zane, Adam and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Jannessa, Madeline, MaKenna, Caleb, Vaeda, and Avelynne; and four special children, Jeremy, Katelyn, Alex, and Dustin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lane, her parents, George and Dorothy (Kepke) Frederick, a son-in-law, Mike Malone and four siblings, Betty, George, Nancy and Doris.
