Funeral services for Vivian Thomas, 80, Wheatland, were held Sept. 22, 1989 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Marjorie Wiebel was the organist and pallbearers were Ed Kageman, Wayne Kageman, Donovan Fox, Mark Werner, Greg Davis and Rolland Davis. Burial was in Pine Hill cemetery in Wheatland.

Vivian Thomas died Sept. 19 at the DeWitt Community hospital.

The daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Schatt Thomas, she was born Sept. 5, 1909 in Wheatland. She graduated from Wheatland high school and was a seamstress. She ran the answering service for Chapman Funeral Homes for 27 years.

Vivian Thomas was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland.

She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
