Mr. Glen E. Mohr, 76, of Welton, died Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Glen Elmer Mohr was born May 24, 1939, at rural DeWitt to LeRoy and Lena (Hill) Mohr and attended rural schools. He married Diana Walker October 26, 1972, in Rock Island. The couple resided at Welton most of their married life. Glen was employed in farming and construction much of his working life.

Surviving are his wife, Diana; children, LeRoy (Cheri) Mohr and their children, Trevor, Landon and Mallory of Kearney, Nebraska, Glen, Jr. (Lorri) Mohr, Annie Harris and Scott Mohr and their families all of Oklahoma; a sister, Hazel Holst of Milan, Illinois; brothers, Marvin (Janet) Mohr of Maquoketa and Fred Mohr of Davenport; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Howard, Harold and Gordon.

The family will receive friends at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 16. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery, Welton.
